San Fran Nan and Crazy Maxine are the gifts that keep on giving for the GOP.
They need to be made the face of the DemocRat Party.
With November’s midterm elections looming, some Democrats are distancing themselves from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
In an interview on CNN’s “New Day” on Thursday, Michigan congressional candidate Rashida Tlaib said she would be unlikely to vote for Nancy Pelosi for speaker if Democrats retake the House.
More than 50 other Democratic congressional incumbents and nominees have made similar statements about not supporting Pelosi, who has been a lightning rod for criticism from President Donald Trump and Republicans.
Trump took to Twitter on Friday to mock Pelosi as a as “wonderful person” who “should definitely be given a 4th chance.”
Democrats, please do not distance yourselves from Nancy Pelosi. She is a wonderful person whose ideas & policies may be bad, but who should definitely be given a 4th chance. She is trying very hard & has every right to take down the Democrat Party if she has veered too far left!
On “Fox & Friends,” Dan Bongino agreed with Trump, saying that Republicans should be thankful that Pelosi continues to hold a leadership role in the Democratic Party.
“We love Nancy Pelosi,” Bongino said. “She’s the gift that keeps on giving. I mean, she’s a nonstop gaffe-fest.”
He pointed to her infamous “crumbs” remark about the Republican tax cuts, her much-criticized comments after Trump labeled MS-13 gang members “animals” and her 2010 quote that Congress had to pass the ObamaCare bill before the American people could find out what’s in it.
“I ran for office. People say things sometimes you wish you could take back,” Bongino said. “The thing with Pelosi is, she seems to never say anything right.”
He noted that she has been successful at raising money and whipping votes, but now she’s taking criticism from both the moderate and progressive wings of her party.
“The problem she has now is some of the more moderate candidates don’t like her because they think she is too left, and of the far-left candidates think she’s not left enough,” Bongino said. “She’s in real trouble.”
