Why Did These Powerful RINOS Have Early Copies Of The ‘Dirty Dossier’?

H/T Clash Daily.

It does not surprise me John Wet Start The Songbird McCain was involved.

John was not as honorable as people thought he kicked his first wife to the curb after she was horridly disfigured in a car wreck.

One name should come as no surprise at all. But the other one? He was headed to the White House at one point!

Let’s start with the name that shouldn’t surprise us in the least.

John McCain. The guy they gave a hero’s funeral for what he did back in the day. That may be who he ONCE was, back when Nixon was President. But people change, and McCain is no exception. It was McCain’s assistant that suggested the weaponizing of the IRS against the political enemies whose activism was feared by Democrats and Rinos alike: Tea Party groups.

The documents uncovered by Judicial Watch include notes from a high-level meeting on April 30, 2013 between powerful members of McCain’s and Levin’s staffs and Lerner, then-director of tax exempt organizations at the IRS under Barack Obama. The notes reveal the suggestions from McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner who urges Lerner to use IRS audits on the advocacy groups to financially ruin them:

In the full notes of an April 30 meeting, McCain’s high-ranking staffer Kerner recommends harassing non-profit groups until they are unable to continue operating. Kerner tells Lerner, Steve Miller, then chief of staff to IRS commissioner, Nikole Flax, and other IRS officials, “Maybe the solution is to audit so many that it is financially ruinous.” In response, Lerner responded that “it is her job to oversee it all:”

Another member of his group was in the thick of the Buzzfeed scandal. Not only did McCain himself put it in the hands of Comey — thereby giving it a patina of being legitimate actionable intel — but another of McCain’s subordinates, David Kramer (a former State Department Official) put it in the hands of Buzzfeed, starting THE Media ball rolling as well.

As even the DOJ has since admitted, the information is at minimum unreliable and partisan. At worst, it’s the only demonstrable Russian-sourced disinformation that has yet turned up in this whole ‘Russian Collusion’ investigation.

Who ELSE had this information long before Trump did?

“Steele gave Report 166 to Kramer, an unnamed senior British security official, Ms. Wallender [sic] at the NSC, Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), and House Speaker Paul Ryan’s Chief of Staff, John Burks,” wrote Judge Ursula Ungaro, who ruled in favor of BuzzFeed in a defamation lawsuit filed by a Russian businessmen identified in Report 166, which Steele produced on Dec. 13, 2016.

That report, which is one of 17 written by Steele, accused Russian businessman Aleksej Gubarev of using his companies to hack Democrats’ computer systems during the 2016 campaign. Gubarev vehemently denied the allegations and sued BuzzFeed for defamation, claiming that the website failed to investigate Steele’s claims.

…The Kramer referred to in Ungaro’s memo is David Kramer, a former State Department official and longtime associate of late Sen. John McCain, who provided a copy of the dossier to BuzzFeed. Wallander is Celeste Wallander, the Obama National Security Council’s top official on Russia-related matters.

Why didn’t the Republicans say anything? Why did they just wait for the hammer to land on Trump?

Could it have anything to do with Trump’s pledge to drain the swamp? After all, some people really like the status quo.

It might even explain some of the Failures of Congress to use their mandated majority in the last couple of years.

Makes you think, doesn’t it?
