Apple Refuses Govt Access to Terrorist’s Devices, But Handed Over Roger Stone’s Without Even a Whimper

H/T Godfather Politics.

Apple refuses to help unlock a terrorist device but will all them access to Roger Stones device that is messed up.

If you think computer giant Apple was “brave” for refusing to unlock the devices of terrorists for the Department of Homeland Security, you’ll have to ask yourself why they unlocked Roger Stone’s devices for Robert Mueller’s fake “Russia” Investigation without even a whimper?

Remember back in 2015 when a pair of ISIS wannabes murdered a building full of office workers in San Bernardino, California?

Following the attack where 14 innocent people were murdered and an additional 22 injured, federal investigators wanted access to the devices owned by the two Muslim perpetrators Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik.

However, Apple refused claiming to stand on privacy principles, saying that their customers’ privacy was more important than the need of the government to know what was in their devices. So, Apple steadfastly refused to unlock the devices for the government.

In 2016, for instance, the Washington Post reported that the FBI was able to unlock the phones without Apple’s help.

Throughout the investigation, Apple said that it had no intention of building a backdoor for law enforcement into its iPhone code because it would set “a dangerous precedent.”

After the FBI unlocked the phones, Apple released a statement saying, “From the beginning, we objected to the FBI’s demand that Apple build a backdoor into the iPhone because we believed it was wrong and would set a dangerous precedent. As a result of the government’s dismissal, neither of these occurred. This case should never have been brought.”

But all of a sudden, despite all these years of Apple pretending it stands up for our Constitutional rights of privacy… Special Council Robert Mueller arrests Trump associate Roger Stone and Apple literally ran as fast as possible to Mueller’s office to give investigators the codes to Stone’s devices.

According to reports, Apple handed over all of Stone’s information after being served a warrant. There were no protests from the computing giant. No proclamations about people’s rights, no invocations of the Constitution, no standing on principle… nothing.

Wait…you might ask. Apple refused to help the government investigate two obviously guilty terrorists because of their “privacy,” but thy didn’t even whimper about handing over the information of a man who is only “guilty” over a purely political witch hunt?

So much for Apple’s “principles.”

Here is the truth. When these lying Tech giants claim they stand on principle and are only looking to protect our Constitutional rights, the only actual “principle” they are really standing on is their interest to engage in the service of leftism. All they do is meant to push anti-American leftism. They don’t care about about our Constitution. Not one tiny bit.
