I will be contributing to the campaign of Michigan State Rep. Jim Lower so he can send Rep. Justin Amash(RINO-MI) to the unemployment line.
Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), who is of Palestinian and Syrian Christian descent, spoke out over the weekend, saying that according to the Mueller report, President Trump had committed impeachable offenses, including obstruction of justice.
Amash stated that the Mueller report indeed contained details of impeachable offenses committed by Trump.
President Trump responded by tweeting that Amash was just trying to get attention.
Michigan State Rep. Jim Lower, a Republican, said that he had been planning to run against Amash in the primary election, but decided to fast-track his announcement and campaign after Amash’s statement about Trump.
The Hill – Pro-Trump GOP state rep announces Amash primary challenge in Michigan – A Michigan state lawmaker on Monday announced he will mount a primary challenge to Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) after the congressman tweeted that he believed President Trump had committed impeachable offenses, according to the Detroit Free Press.
State Rep. Jim Lower (R) said he would challenge Amash in the Republican primary for his western Michigan seat rather than seek a third term in the state legislature.
Lower said he had been planning to run before Amash’s remarks but fast-tracked his announcement after the tweets this weekend despite originally planning to make it closer to July 4.
Amash drew fire from Trump on Sunday for tweeting that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report detailed “impeachable conduct” and that Attorney General William Barr had misrepresented Mueller’s findings…
I can’t help but believe that even though Amash is of Christian heritage, that his statements against Trump are more about his re-election efforts than about real justice.
Many parts of Michigan are becoming hotbeds for Muslims who hate Trump.
Therefore, by speaking out against Trump and calling for his impeachment, might just win him votes of Muslims and other Democrats in his district.
