Princess Fauxahontias can not carry her home state has to be embarrassing.
The thing I do not understand why Massachusett keeps electing her to the Senate?
Polls are closed in Massachusetts, and the race was a three-way fight between Sens. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and former Vice President Joe Biden. Super Tuesday always presented a fight for Sen. Warren, especially to win her home state. Sen. Warren has indicated that she will not exit the race tonight.
Biden is projected to be the winner of the Massachusetts primary, followed by Sen. Sanders in second and Sen. Warren coming in third in her home state.
Hillary Clinton won Massachusetts in the 2016 Democratic primary over Sen. Sanders. Polls indicated that Sen. Sanders would be the victor in his neighboring state. However, it appears that former Vice President Joe Biden’s last minute endorsements from former presidential candidates Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Pete Buttigieg and Beto O’Rourke may have made a difference. Of Massachusetts voters who decided their choice at the last minute, Biden had a majority:
