Dain Bramage: Chelsea Clinton Says Returning To A Time Before Legalized Abortion Is ‘Unchristian’

H/T Clash Daily.

If Chelsea thinks murdering unborn babies is Christian she needs to read this passage from the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs 6:16-18 King James Version (KJV)

16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Is she serious? Either she doesn’t understand what abortion is, or she doesn’t understand Christianity.

Chelsea Clinton has been very outspoken on abortion lately. She recently said at a ‘Rise Up For Roe’ event that legalizing abortion has added $3 Trillion to the economy.

Now that President Trump has appointed a second pro-life judge, Brett Kavanaugh, the issue of repealing Roe v. Wade, (a horrible legal decision which is considered by many to be a travesty of constitutional law,) is bringing all of the defenders of abortion out in the open to appeal their case.

Their case is that abortion is ‘healthcare’ and a Constitutionally protected right.

Admittedly, the abortion debate is always difficult. There are two sides — the bodily autonomy of the woman, and the life of the child. Those on the pro-choice side, seem to only see the woman in the equation to the exclusion of the child, and even deny that the fetus is a human being.

What is it then? A platypus? No, that’s ridiculous! If it is not a human life at conception, then at what point does it become a human life? Certainly, that happens before birth. Personally, I’d prefer to err on the side of caution there.

Abortion activists say that women need the right to an abortion because ‘thousands’ of women would die without legal access to abortion. Chelsea cites the same stats. The British Medical Journal remembers the late Dr. Bernard Nathanson, initially a leader in the pro-choice movement, and later a staunch opponent of abortion. Dr. Nathanson admitted repeatedly that the statistics that were used in the ‘morality’ of their movement were made up, and everyone knew it.

Back in the day, Hillary said that she wanted to find common ground with pro-life and pro-choice communities and make abortion ‘Safe, Legal, and Rare.’

Of course, she moved far away from that and was fighting for abortion on demand without apology, which is very different from the views of the vast majority of Americans, including those that self-identify as pro-choice.

So much for rare.

Taking a page from the early activism of Dr. Nathanson, Chelsea is using morality and adding in her own version of Christianity to push for abortion. If that wasn’t enough, she mentioned her children, specifically her daughter.

From the video:

I look at my children and I have to quote Jim Yong Kim, ‘optimism is a moral choice.’ Every day I make the moral choice to be optimistic. That my efforts and my energies, particularly when I’m fortunate enough to be in partnership with kinda fellow travelers, hopefully will make a difference.

And when I think about all of the statistics that are painful of what women are confronting today in our country, and what even more women confronted pre-Roe and how many women died and how many more women were maimed because of unsafe abortion practices, we just can’t go back to that. Like that’s unconscionable to me, and also, I’m sure that this will unleash another wave of hate in my direction, but as a deeply religious person, it’s also unchristian to me

How delightful.

Chelsea’s ‘deep religious convictions’ allow for the murder of a child in the womb — even considering the right of her daughter to kill  her own children.

I must have missed that in my study of the Bible. What part of the Bible is that, Chelsea? First or Second Jezebel?

When Jesus said, ‘Suffer the little children to come unto Me,’ He clearly just meant the ones that survived to be born, right?

All of those passages in the Old and New Testament that discuss how God formed us in our mother’s womb, and how John leapt in the womb when Mary spoke to Elizabeth, that was all just referring to a ‘clump of cells’ with no inherent humanity, right?

Does Chelsea really ask herself, ‘Who Would Jesus Slaughter’?

It’s just fiendish.

As for the unsafe abortion practices, I guess Chelsea missed the story of Kermit Gosnell, just like everyone else in America. He was a prolific serial killer — not just of babies, but of the healthy women that went into his clinic seeking an abortion.

Don’t worry, many conservatives in Hollywood are working on fixing that ignorance about the monster that is Kermit Gosnell. A movie is being released on October 12 all about the investigation. Learn more about the Gosnell movie and watch the trailer here.

Guess what?

She was right about the backlash.

Chelsea, you have no concept of the teachings of Jesus Christ. His Gospel is life. Abortion denies millions of children the gift of life.

Do you read the Bible or are you just religious? If are deeply religious what religion, because being a Christian and believing in the Bible you would not have said this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=uuMj3T_AJI4

I am not judging your salvation, I’m questioning if you’re a practicing Christian who believes in the Bible. Or do you cherry pick what you like?

How is it unchristian to not want to kill defenceless babies? You claim you are deeply religious, while I can say I am not deeply religious. But it is VERY CHRISTIAN to say that it is you who need praying for Chelsea. Just like all of those dead babies.

I’ll hope for at least 50% sane responses to anything using the words ‘human rights’ ‘reproduction’ and ‘women’ all in the same sentence

Steven J. Huron@StevenJHuron

You forgot ‘unborn’ ‘defenseless’ & ‘baby’.

Roe v. Wade was made law by activists justices on an activist Supreme Court that wanted to legislate from the Bench.

We didn’t have the technology that we have now to see that a fetus in the womb isn’t just a ‘clump of cells.’

There are many ways to prevent pregnancy and some of them can be used simultaneously.

Is it still necessary to kill children in the womb as a form of retro-active birth control?

There’s still so much to say about abortion, but this last thing needs to be said.

The view that men and women are exactly the same with regard to sex is ridiculous. The feminist view that women can sleep around without consequence is anti-woman. It denies those differences. Abortion is just one way to keep women from dealing with the serious consequences of their actions, and acknowledging that they are indeed different from men. The callous way that feminists now encourage women to ‘Shout Your Abortion‘ shows just how cold we have become as a society.

But society doesn’t have to stay that way.

Sixty-Five Women Who Went to High School With Brett Kavanaugh Write Their Own Letter About His Character

H/T Town Hall.

Over five dozen women that attended High School with Brett Kavanaugh have vouched for him and his character.

Yet brain dead Dippycrap Dianne Feinstein is trying to smear and impune the reputation of Brett Kavanaugh with an anonymous letter from a woman.

This scenario almost mirrors the attempted high tech lynching of Clearance Thomas by the press the Dippycraps with the lies of Anita Hill.

Five dozen women who went to high school with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have written a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein backing his character.

“We are women who have known Brett Kavanaugh for more than 35 years and knew him while he attended high school between 1979 and 1983. For the entire time we have known Brett Kavanaugh, he has behaved honorably and treated women with respect. We strongly believe it is important to convey this information to the Committee at this time,” the letter states. “Brett attended Georgetown Prep, an all-boys high school in Rockville, Maryland. He was an outstanding student and athlete with a wide circle of friends. Almost all of us attended all girls high schools in the area. We knew Brett well through social events, sports, church, and various other activities. Many of us have remained close friends with him and his family over the years.”

“Through the more than 35 years we have known him, Brett has stood out for his friendship, character, and integrity. In particular, he has always treated women with decency and respect. That was true when he was in high school, and it has remained true to this day,” the letter continues. “The signers of this letter hold a broad range of political views. Many of us are not lawyers, but we know Brett Kavanaugh as a person. And he has always been a good person.”

The letter comes one day after Senator Feinstein referred Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation after receiving a letter from an unnamed woman. In a statement released by Feinstein Thursday, the Democrat implied wrongdoing by Kavanaugh without offering any evidence or transparency.

The accusation, reportedly, is that Kavanaugh and another young man locked a woman in a room by herself during a party in high school. The woman was able to get out and was not harmed. (UPDATE: The New Yorker is reporting the woman, who refuses to be named, claims Kavanaugh “tried to assault her” at a party in high school).

Judge Kavanaugh issued a statement in response to the accusation Friday morning.

“I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time,” Kavanaugh said.

Millions Of Water Bottles Found Rotting In Puerto Rico As San Juan Mayor Continues To Bash Trump

H/T Right Wing Folks.

The failure of the Puerto Rican government to distribute this water and supplies are on the same level as Kathleen Blanco and Ray School Bus Nagin during Hurricane Katrina.

Blanco and Nagin failed to step up to help the people of Lousiana to spite George W.Bush a Republican so he would be bashed and the Puerto Rican government has screwed around to Donald Trump a Republican can be gashed for not caring and allowing people to die.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz has repeatedly attacked President Donald Trump over the U.S. government’s response in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, even as 12 million bottles of water were discovered this week rotting on an airport runway in Puerto Rico.

BuzzFeed News reports that “Justo Hernández, deputy federal coordinating officer of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), told reporters that the 19,841 pallets of water were left on the runway at José Aponte de la Torre Airport and that as a result, ‘some of that water was spoiled.’”

The revelation comes at roughly the same time that Yulin Cruz appeared on CNN to bash Trump and also attacked the president in a series of tweets this week.

Carmen Yulín Cruz

Simply put: delusional, paranoid, and unhinged from any sense of reality. Trump is so vain he thinks this is about him. NO IT IS NOT.

Carmen Yulín Cruz

Damn it: this is NOT about politics this was always about SAVING LIVES.

Puerto Rico Secretary of State Luis Rivera Marin called out Yulin Cruz last night on Fox News as being one of Puerto Rico’s politicians who has “politicized” the natural disaster.

A June report from a local Puerto Rican news outlet — provided to The Daily Wire after it was translated into English — highlighted Yulin Cruz’s absence from Puerto Rico as she politicked in the United States.

“So far this year, the mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto, has been out of Puerto Rico for 52 days, tending to activities with different organizations and delegating the functions of her job that she was recently reelected to, to former vice-mayor of the capital, Rafael Jaume,” NotiCel reported. “Subsequently, there have been 11 executive orders issued by Cruz Soto to designate Jaume as interim mayor while she is outside Puerto Rico.”

The media has also used the hurricane to attack Trump, often blaming his administration for any failures in Puerto Rico, even if the fault lies with Puerto Rican officials.

The Daily Caller flagged a video clip yesterday of FEMA administrator Brock Long appearing on MSNBC and debunking many false or misleading claims that the media has been peddling since the hurricane.

NY Times Busted Pushing Fake News to Smear Nikki Haley — This One Is BAD

H/T Right Wing Folks.

These type stories are why newspapers are dying nobody wants to pay to read the fake news in them.

The New York Times on Thursday reported that the U.S. State Department spent $52,701 for curtains at Nikki Haley’s official residence as ambassador to the United Nations.

The headline, clearly intended to suggest wrongdoing, reads, “State Department Spent $52,701 on Curtains for Nikki Haley’s Residence.” The article’s author, Gardiner Harris, went even further in a tweet.

Nikki Haley’s View of New York Is Priceless. Her Curtains? $52,701. https://nyti.ms/2N92rla

State Department Spent $52,701 on Curtains for Residence of U.N. Envoy

A purchase of custom, mechanized curtains for an official residence on the East Side of Manhattan was approved ahead of the department’s budget cuts.

“Nikki Haley’s View of New York Is Priceless. Her Curtains? $52,701,” he tweeted.

However, four paragraphs into the New York Times article lies the truth:

“A spokesman for Ms. Haley said plans to buy the curtains were made in 2016, during the Obama administration. Ms. Haley had no say in the purchase.”

That’s right. The curtains were purchased under former President Barack Obama and had nothing to do with Haley in the first place.

It didn’t take long for the internet to call out the left-leaning outlet.

“Misleading headline. Few are reading past the first couple grafs. And now most of Twitter thinks @nikkihaley is like Pruitt or Price when she’s not. How irresponsible. Read the whole story. Also the rent is less expensive than previous admins,” journalist Yashar Ali tweeted.

Why Massive Mainstream Media Distrust?
Example #1,490

Headlines: State Department Spent $52,200 on Nikki Haley apartment curtains
Media Reaction: Outrage
Fact: Curtains order under Obama administration

Unsurprisingly, the New York Times declined to report on the $53,000 curtains when they were actually bought under Obama.

And they wonder why President Trump calls them “fake news.”

The latest unproven attack on Brett Kavanaugh is evil and absurd

H/T The Washington Examiner.

The left is trying to destroy Brett Kavanaugh like Turd(Ted)Kennedy did with Robert Bork.

The latest leftist attempt to smear Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh is unhinged evil. Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said Thursday that she had “received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court” and had referred it to the FBI. The letter she supposedly received was dated back in July.

When all else failed and the hearings are over, this is a an 11th-hour unsubstantiated last-ditch effort to impugn Kavanaugh’s character at the most debased level. It’s absolutely disgusting.

According to Senate Judiciary Committee reports, Kavanaugh has undergone six FBI comprehensive investigations between 1993 to 2018. No allegation resembling this anonymous claim has ever surfaced in those FBI investigations or reports. No allegations have ever been reported before now, and no senator asked about this issue among the almost 1,300 written questions sent for the record just from Democrats.

This is baseless.

That this is also just “the latest” in the Left’s attempt to smear Kavanaugh is also disgusting. No man or woman nominated to serve their country should have to go through what Kavanaugh went through during his confirmation hearings, regardless of party affiliation.

As I’ve previously written, the kabuki theater displayed by the protesters and by Sens. Feinstein, Cory Booker, and others is conduct shameful and unbecoming of the government process. Politics are by definition partisan, but the processes of government can and should still maintain decorum and integrity.

Feinstein’s baseless accusations also lack integrity. Continuing with her outrageous conduct in prior federal nominee confirmation hearings, this whole accusation and the timing and form of release is unbecoming of a senator. She had a four-day public hearing and the closed session to raise this allegation and question Kavanaugh, and she didn’t even attend the closed session, much less raise anything during the televised session to allow Kavanaugh the opportunity to immediately respond.

Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and his staff have said they first learned of the existence of the anonymous letter from the news reports. Feinstein apparently didn’t even give him the courtesy of advising him directly of such a “serious” matter.

Any claim, particularly an anonymous claim, should be met with skepticism. The burden of proof here is on the person who makes the claim. No one has a right to be believed. In court, the burden of proof is on the side bringing the petition or allegation. But as the Democrats well know, the court of public opinion is often illogical, thrives on drama, and quick to believe the salaciousness of allegations without requiring a scintilla of proof.

Yet leftist Twitter seized on an anonymous, vague allegation that supposedly may have occurred 35 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school to smear and paint him as a pervert instead of a loving father and husband:

Come on.

According to the latest reports, the committee vote on Kavanaugh will procced as scheduled on Thursday, Sept. 20, and the White House is still committed to the confirmation process being complete to have a full Supreme Court sitting when the new session begins October 1.

Good. This anonymous allegation shouldn’t derail anything about the process. This is the same process, by the way, that Democrats demanded be “fair and impartial” in their letter to Grassley days before the confirmation hearings began.

The Left is merely hoping to undermine and destroy the nomination and reputation of a credible, qualified, dignified man simply because they hate the president who nominated him.

John Kerry deserves jail for secret Iran diplomacy

H/T The Washington Examiner.

It is time for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to step up and do his job charging John Kerry with violating the 1979 Logan Act.

President Trump should revoke John Kerry’s Security Clearance also.

In a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt, former Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that he’s been working behind-the-scenes to salvage the Iran nuclear deal. “What I have done is tried to elicit from him what Iran might be willing to do in order to change the dynamic in the Middle East for the better,” he explained. Kerry’s backchannel with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif has not been a one-time deal. “I think I’ve seen him three or four times,” Kerry said, and acknowledged that his talks were occurring without the Trump administration’s approval.

Kerry has always been an arrogant and aloof man. During his long career on Capitol Hill, Senate colleagues on both sides of the aisle described him as the least-liked senator, an opinion repeatedly affirmed by his own office staff during his long career. He is disdainful of democracy. Simply put, he sees himself as above the law, deserving of privilege and special dispensation not only when he is in government, but also as a private citizen.

Perhaps Kerry believes he is not violating the Logan Act of 1799 which states that: “Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

There are exceptions, of course. Private citizens can register as foreign agents under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. This covers not only formal lobbying, but also providing advice to foreign governments or individuals about how to change or circumvent U.S. law. Indeed, a tangent of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations into the Trump administration has been the numerous potential FARA violations on behalf of individuals working for Russia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Israel.

Other exceptions exist as well. In 1994, former President Jimmy Carter conducted sensitive negotiations with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Il at the height of a crisis that the Clinton administration feared might lead to war. Many on Clinton’s team believed Carter overstepped his mandate, but he did coordinate his trip and actions with the White House. Years later, Bill Clinton sought dispensation to travel to North Korea as well but when the Obama administration demurred, he canceled his trip.

Kerry is personally invested in the Iran nuclear deal (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA), from which President Trump walked away. The wisdom of Trump’s action is open to debate, but what is not is this: Trump won the 2016 election. He made clear during his campaign that he opposed the JCPOA, just like Obama made clear during his campaign that he supported outreach to Iran. There was no deception on either man’s part. And Trump’s decision to walk away from the JCPOA is not illegal. Julie Frifield, assistant secretary of state for legislative affairs under Kerry, acknowledged the JCPOA was unsigned and “neither a treaty nor an executive agreement.” In other words, it had the same status as the Bush-era agreements with the Czech Republic and Poland for anti-missile defenses which Obama voided when he came to office.

There has been a temptation among polemicists on both the Right and Left to criminalize the policy debate, and this is unfortunate. But that does not mean anyone should get a free pass for what appears to be criminal activity. If Kerry wants to criticize Trump for walking away from the JCPOA, he is free to do so. And if he wants to plot and plan with Zarif, he can register as a foreign agent on behalf of Iran. But he should not remain above the law. To allow him to do so sets a horrible precedent for any future administration, for American democracy, and for coherence of U.S. policy. It is time both Kerry and the Justice Department understood that.

Jimmy Carter: I Would ‘Change All’ of Trump’s Policies if I Were President Again

H/T Breitbart.com.

Jimmy America got stupid once and elected you President it will not happen again.

If by a freak chance you would be elected again you would replace Bathhouse Barry Obama as the worst President ever.

This week during a student town hall at Emory University, former President Jimmy Carter said he would change “all” of the policies of President Donald Trump.

When asked what he would do if he became president of the United States again, Carter said, “If I were foolish enough to feel I could be president again and I got to be president, I think the first thing I would do would be to change all of the policies that President Trump has initiated since he has been in office.”

He continued, “I pray for him fairly regularly.”

Carter explained, “If he answered my prayers, he’d have to change a lot of things.”

He added, “I hope he will do well if he finishes out his first term.”

Carter’s comments were given a standing ovation.
